Started Contributing to CDT

So, my lecturer Dr. John Sutherland (co-creator of the Computer Games Journal) gave me the great advice of starting my own blog for my personal thoughts and feelings regarding what happens in the games industry, as well as write reviews of games, and talk retrospectively about games I have played.

This year, I've had a wake up call and have been trying to transform myself into a more outgoing person. My years of searching for a part-time job while doing university work has led me nowhere, so I have to build my own identity and experience, rather than waiting for the opportunity to arise in an ever-competitive working world.

To do this, I have started contributing to CalmDownTom, a video game journalism website. My first article can be found here:

You should have played... Spyro the Dragon Trilogy (PSN)

I'm hoping that this will be the beginning of a lengthy partnership with Thomas Welsh and the rest of the contributors at CDT.

On top of this, I have been continually working on "Shadow Memories". Development has been slow on the game but I hope to have it increase in frequency in the future, as we head towards a closed beta in 4-5 weeks, for a full release in May.

I also have a few other surprises up my sleeves in terms of games development-related endeavours, but as everything is always subject to change, I don't want to jump the gun and spill/hype anything before it goes ahead.
